Each exciting online auction is unique with items ranging from small collectibles to large furniture pieces, and everything in between. We’ve even had cars and motorcycles listed on the auction. You will always be amazed at the wide variety of things to bid on at www.TDonlineauctions.com

How do I register to bid?

Visit www.TDonlineauctions.com, click the register button at the top right corner, fill out the information and click complete registration.  It’s that simple, you are ready to start bidding!

What does it mean by “starts to close”?

Our online auctions have a staggered closing meaning that the first two lots close at the specified time, then the next two lots close one minute later and so on until all lots have closed.  Should a bid be placed within the last two minutes of a lot’s ending time, the ending time will automatically be extended to two minutes from the time that bid is placed. The timer will continue to extend in the same manner until the bidding activity has stopped. An item closes when the timer on the lot hits zero. The winning bidder of an item is the last Bidder the bid history recorded before the timer hits zero.

What is a maximum proxy bid?

You can enter the highest amount that you are willing to bid.  The system will automatically place a bid on your behalf for the lowest amount possible up to your maximum bid using an incremental bidding system. This allows you to remain the highest bidder for the online auction and your proxy bid will remain confidential to all parties, including Transitional Design.

Can I view the items prior to bidding?

Yes, you can come to our location during our store hours to view the items prior to placing a bid.  The hours are Monday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.  We are closed on Sunday.

How do I pay for my items?

You will receive an invoice the next morning following an online auction close.  On that invoice, there will be a link you can click to pay online with either PayPal or a credit card.  You may pay in person with either cash, check or credit card during the scheduled pick up time.  Please note that all payments must be received prior to the end of the scheduled pick up.

When is the pick up?

The pickup times are listed on the main page of each online auction.  Our online auctions are picked up at our Broadview Heights location each Wednesday between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified.  If you are unable to make the pick up due to an emergency, please pay online before the end of the pick up.  Any items not picked up by the scheduled pick up time may be subject to a daily storage fee.  Any items not picked up within five days will be considered abandoned with no refunds given unless you have prior approval from Transitional Design.

Will anyone be available to help me load my items?

We will have at least one mover at the scheduled pick up time to assist you with loading your items.  If you are unable to make the pickup, you should bring your own assistance.  Please bring any necessary boxes and packing materials.

Is delivery or shipping available?

We offer both.  If you would like your items delivered, please contact us at 440-627-6390 to schedule a delivery.  Our rates are $50 per hour, per person, billed in 15 minute increments.  If you would like your items shipped, please call Tony at the UPS store at 216-475-7855 for pricing.
